Step 1: Setting Your Transcripts Channel
As you proceed to set your transcript channel, keep in mind that Helper.gg's panel only accepts channel IDs, and not channel names. In order to obtain this ID, make sure you have Discord's Developer Mode enabled in the Appearance section of your application settings. From there, simply right click and copy your desired channel ID as shown below.
Step 2: Inputting Channel ID into Panel
After you have your channel ID copied, navigate to the Modify Variables section of the panel in your intended server. Once there, paste the contents of your clipboard into the text box labeled Helper.gg Logging Channel (as highlighted in red). Revisions to your panel settings will be saved automatically, so no further action is required in this step.
Step 3: Email Transmission of Ticket Transcripts
DISCLAIMER: Before we get into the steps for this particular aspect of transcript recording, bear in mind that you will need to input personal information into our panel. However, we can assure you with absolute confidence that every conceivable measure has been taken to ensure data privacy and protections. Also note that use of this feature requires a Premium subscription (learn how to obtain our Premium package at the following link: https://docs.helper.gg/panel/purchasing-premium-or-supreme).
In order to receive transcripts of tickets generated in your server via email, navigate to the Commands section of your panel and go to the Transcript Command selection as highlighted in red below. From there, you will be able to set a Ticket Transcript Email Address in the text box below its respective header. As stated in Step 2, all changes are saved automatically and no further action will be required in this process.
Step 4: Completion
